Our wines are hand-crafted in small volumes using traditional methods: hand sorting, open-top fermentations, hand punchdowns and manual basket pressing. All the Stark-Condé wines are bottled without fining and filtration. We make about 6000 cases. Winemaking by José Conde.
The Stark-Condé Three Pines range consists of a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Syrah from high-elevation vineyard blocks. The name Three Pines is a reference to the lookout spot at the top of the farm, from which the highest vineyards are visible.
Our Stark-Condé Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are made from carefully selected vineyard blocks on our property in Jonkershoek Valley. This year we have also released our first estate white: The Field Blend, a blend of Roussanne, Chenin Blanc, Viognier and Verdelho.
The Postcard Series, wines made from non-estate premium vineyards, was initiated to merge the Pepin Condé range with the Stark-Condé range.
- Round Mountain Pinot Noir
The Lingen Red blend is a unique single-vineyard wine made from a small enclosed vineyard in the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch. This Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot blend is made and matured by the Stark-Condé team.
